“The English language is well-known around the world, in both rich and poor countries. Even though it’s more commonly spoken in richer countries, its importance has grown significantly in poorer countries since the era of Liberalization, Privatization, and Globalization (LPG).

There are two main parts to the English language: speaking and writing. Each part is important in different ways. Speaking English is very important in fields like TV journalism, corporate communication, management, and when sharing knowledge. In these areas, how well you speak, your fluency, and how you pronounce words are very important.

Phonetics, the study of sounds in speech, plays a crucial role in English speaking. Understanding phonetics can greatly improve your pronunciation, making it easier for others to understand you. It helps you learn how to correctly form sounds and intonations that are native to English, which is especially useful for people learning English as a second language.

However, writing in English is more important in areas like newspapers, magazines, and schools. Writing is preferred over speaking in these areas because it helps share detailed information more clearly and lasts longer.
